Four teenagers were arrested in the stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy, police said Wednesday.
Pedro Gomez, 17, of Garden Grove was stabbed repeatedly during what police believe was a gang-related fight in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store at Trask Avenue and Fairview Street, said Garden Grove Police Lt. Mike Handfield. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The four teens were booked on suspicion of murder, Handfield said. Steven Cordova, 18, of Garden Grove is being held without bail at Orange County Jail. The others -- a 16- and 17-year-old from Garden Grove and a 17-year-old from Santa Ana -- are being held at Orange County Juvenile Hall.
Their names were not released because of their ages.
