Fire Destroys Two Firms in Strip Mall

Two businesses in a strip mall were gutted early Tuesday by a fire that caused $2 million in damages.
Quest Printing and Inch by Inch, a children’s resale store in Los Alamitos Plaza, in the 10900 block of Los Alamitos Boulevard near Katella Avenue, were destroyed by the 2:45 a.m. blaze.
The fire was caused by a malfunctioning electricappliance at Quest Printing, said Capt. Stephen Miller, spokesman for the Orange County Fire Authority.
