Fond memories of lovely Puglia

What a pleasure S. Irene Virbila’s Italy article is [“A Setting for the Senses,” Feb. 25]. I have visited Puglia for many years and never, ever tire of it. The food, of course, is outstanding, as are the historical features. Puglia, as well as most of southern Italy, carries on the long tradition of hospitality and great gentility.
