Man arrested in sexual assault of 15-year-old boy

A 46-year-old Costa Mesa man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Fullerton boy he met online, police said Friday.
Paul Mason Gardner allegedly had a sexual relationship with the boy for some time and was arrested Thursday when he arrived at their meeting place. The boy’s parents learned of the relationship this week and alerted authorities, police said.
Detectives suspect that Gardner may be involved in other cases and asked that anyone with information call (714) 738-3301.
