Shed no tears for Bruins

Why is everyone so surprised when UCLA loses to a “second-tier” team. UCLA is a second-tier team and has been for the past several years.
Like all second-tier teams, they win a few and lose a few among their second-tier competitors and occasionally jump and bite a top-tier team (Cal this year, USC last year). This year they will finish out their schedule against three top-tier teams and they probably will lose them all, further cementing their position in the Pac-10’s second tier.

Coach Dorrell and staff, it’s simple. Call the plays your players can execute or recruit players who can execute the plays you call.

Dear Rick Neuheisel,
If you promise to play by the rules, we’ll believe you.

I can handle T.J. Simers classlessly belittling Karl Dorrell after Bruins losses. But sincerely saying that UCLA should give Karl yet another chance next year? Now that is total incompetence.
