3 soldiers die in Afghan blast

Canada’s death toll in Afghanistan rose past the grim milestone of 100 after a roadside bomb killed three soldiers.
Brig. Gen. Denis Thompson said the soldiers were riding in an armored vehicle on patrol west of the city of Kandahar when they struck an improvised explosive device.
