A Second Look: The Second Look column and accompanying caption in Sunday’s Calendar said F.W. Murnau’s “Sunrise” won the 1929 Academy Award for best picture. In fact, William A. Wellman’s “Wings” won best picture; “Sunrise” won a special award for best picture, unique and artistic production.
