NBC Universal Inc.’s former treasurer was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for stealing more than $1 million from the company, prosecutors said.
Victor Jung got a reduced sentence after helping prosecutors build a case against his subordinate, James Walsh, who was sentenced on Dec. 2 to 21 months in prison.
Prosecutors said Jung, who worked out of NBC Universal’s offices at Rockefeller Plaza in New York, made unauthorized transfers from NBC parent General Electric Co.’s accounts to his personal accounts from 2004 to 2006.
