A county probation officer was charged by the district attorney’s office Friday with molesting a 15-year-old girl in his car after he picked her up on a street.
Nkosi Emmett Littleton, 36, who works with youths at the county’s Camp Kilpatrick in Malibu, faces felony charges of lewd acts upon a child and oral copulation of a person under the age of 16, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.
Littleton was arrested about 11 p.m. Wednesday by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division. The detectives saw him in his car with the girl, officials said.
Littleton faces three years and eight months in state prison if convicted of the felonies.
The deputy probation officer has been suspended without pay, said Kerri Webb, county Probation Department spokeswoman.
