Update: Not that the Clippers don’t miss the services of center Chris Kaman, but it’s never as obvious as in games against Yao Ming. Yao torched the Clippers for 24 points and 10 rebounds in the Rockets’ 103-96 win against the Clippers at Houston on Dec. 3. He made 12 of 13 free throws, and the Rockets were 31 for 39 from the line, both season highs. Now, both teams are coming off Friday night road wins.
