MILITARY DEATHS

The Defense Department last week identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq:
Solomon T. Sam, 26, of Majuro, Marshall Islands; staff sergeant, Army. Sam was one of two soldiers killed Dec. 4 in a suicide truck bombing in Mosul, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 523rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
John J. Savage, 26, of Weatherford, Texas; sergeant, Army. Savage was one of two soldiers killed Dec. 4 in a suicide truck bombing in Mosul, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 103rd Engineer Company, 94th Engineer Battalion at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.
