Warner Bros. names head of marketing

Warner Bros. Pictures has named Sue Kroll to president of worldwide marketing. In the newly created position, Kroll will head both the domestic and international theatrical marketing units of the studio.
Previously, she had been president of international marketing since 2000. Her appointment follows the departure last week of former domestic marketing chief Dawn Taubin.
Warner Bros. said combining the domestic and international theatrical marketing units recognizes that nearly half of the studio’s revenue from box office, DVD and TV sales of its movies originates outside of North America.
