Opposition to Holocaust float

A Jewish organization is threatening a lawsuit to stop a Carnaval group from parading Sunday with a float that invokes the Holocaust with a mound of mannequins.
Eliane Lorca, a spokeswoman for the Viradouro samba group, said the Jewish Federation of Rio de Janeiro had sent a letter of protest. Viradouro said the float would have no dancers or performers. But even so, the float would be offensive, the Jewish group said.
