Storm topples historic bridge

A band of storms that moved east from Indiana splintered homes, swept vehicles from flooded roads and dumped a historic covered bridge into a river. Three people were killed.
A woman died in Indiana when she tried to drive through floodwaters, state police said.
Another woman died when a tree fell on a vehicle in Annandale, Va., a suburb of Washington, D.C., a fire department spokesman said.
And authorities in West Virginia recovered the body of a 20-year-old man swept away while trying to drive his truck through high water.
A tornado struck tiny Moscow, Ind., on Tuesday, destroying a house and a historic covered bridge.
