Update -- A victory by Chivas USA would allow it to close to within one point of the Western Conference lead and also make up for the 1-0 defeat suffered at New York on June 5 when Juan Pablo Angel scored a 75th-minute goal off a cross by Dane Richards. Angel is questionable tonight because of a left hamstring strain. Chivas will be without defensive midfielder Paulo Nagamura, who is serving a one-game suspension.
