“Nice Work If You Can Get It,” a new musical comedy headlined by Harry Connick Jr., with music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin and book by Joe DiPietro ( “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”), will open in March at a Broadway theater to be announced. Grammy and Emmy Award-winning Connick, a 2006 best actor Tony nominee for “The Pajama Game,” plays a Long Island playboy embroiled with gold diggers and bootleggers. The show will have a pre-Broadway run at Boston’s Colonial Theatre Dec. 16 to Jan. 11.
