Re “Voters pass all 23 school bond issues,” Nov. 6
The people have not given up on public education. The best rebuttal to the broad-brush indictment of public schools was support for all school bond propositions last Tuesday.
Public schools must guard against complacency or run the risk of losing future support. But at least they now know that their efforts to educate an increasingly multicultural population are not totally unappreciated.
