Vandeman named Maguire chairman

Maguire Properties Inc. named George A. Vandeman chairman, succeeding Walter Weisman, who has held the post since an executive shake-up in May.
Shareholders of the Los Angeles-based office owner also voted to elect seven directors to the company’s board: Vandeman, Nelson Rising, Jonathan M. Brooks, Christine N. Garvey, Cyrus S. Hadidi, Paul M. Watson and David L. Weinstein, Maguire said. Rising is president and chief executive.
