Killed pedestrian identified as teen

The county coroner’s office on Thursday identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a car on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills as 15-year-old Patrick Angelo Demesa.
Demesa of Winnetka was walking in the 20700 block of Ventura Boulevard near Kelvin Avenue about 5 p.m. on Wednesday when he was killed.
The woman driving the car also died but has not been identified, said an official at the coroner’s office.
