Base store robbed

An armed robber Monday got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Stuart Mesa Exchange, one of several stores on the Marine base. The same exchange was struck by an armed robber in April, a case still unsolved. Naval agents are investigating.
“No effort will be spared to find the perpetrators,” said base commander Col. James B. Seaton III.
