Two suspects in the stabbing death of a man outside Barney’s Beanery restaurant have turned themselves in.
Damon Acevedo, 36, and Justin Acosta, 34, were booked on suspicion of murder Wednesday night and are being held on $1-million bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The stabbing last Thursday stemmed from an argument inside the popular restaurant and bar that moved outside and became a brawl about 1:30 a.m.
The victim, Michael McClure, 40, of West Hollywood, died at a hospital.
“We identified them because of the cooperation of employees, patrons and witnesses, and long hours posted by investigators,” said Lt. Gil Carillo of the Sheriff’s Department. “After warrants were issued for their arrest, they turned themselves in.”
No further details were available.
