Hollywood Headlines: A crazy week in review

Sorry, Constantine. It’s not as though you had any real chance at winning “American Idol,” let alone a Tony award. (And not for “ Rock of Ages” -- blame a year of slim musical pickings on Broadway.) Instead, you were beat out by a trio of pre-teens. “Billy Elliot: The Musical” stars David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish and Trent Kowalik -- who rotate the lead role of aspiring dancer Billy -- made Tony history Sunday night when all three kids were awarded the prize for best actor in a musical. It’s been seven straight weeks’ worth of US Weekly covers. Apparently, viewers can’t get enough, with more issues flying off stands than ever.
