Grimm In this new episode, titled “The Grimm Who Stole Christmas,” Nick and Hank (David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby) probe home invasions that have residents of Portland on edge at a time of year that should be festive and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) has special yuletide plans in store for Rosalee (Bree Turner). 9 p.m. NBC
One Child In this new series a Chinese girl adopted by English parents returns to Guangzhou to help her birth mother. 9 p.m. Sundance
Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways The bands travels across America in preparation for its eighth album release ends with tonight’s season finale. 11 p.m. HBO

How Murray Saved Christmas This new animated special adapted from a book by Mike Reiss — a veteran of the creative team on “The Simpsons” — features the voice of Jerry Stiller as a cantankerous delicatessen owner who has to become a substitute Santa, assisted by an elf (Sean Hayes). A Very Grammy Christmas The Grammy Nominations Concert is combined with a holiday celebration in a new special again guided host, LL Cool J. Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Tim McGraw, Mary J. Blige and Maroon 5 are set to perform. 9 p.m. CBS
A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen The New Jerseyrockeris honored by fellow artists at his induction as the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year. Elton John, Sting, Neil Young, John Legend, Patti Smith and Zac Brown Band are among those performing Springsteen classics. 9 p.m. KOCE
