Los Angeles Lakers fans don’t have much to celebrate this season, but they can look forward to getting an insight into the team’s biggest star, Kobe Bryant.
Showtime is set for a February premiere of “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” a feature-length documentary promising to show a side of Bryant “that the public has never seen before.”
The documentary, directed by Gotham Chopra and produced by Bryant, follows the Lakers star as he contemplates life after his playing career ends. He also discusses his influences and philosophies.
“People know me because of what I am, a basketball player,” Bryant said in a statement. “In ‘Muse,’ everyone will begin to understand who I am and how I became who I am. I created this film to open up my journey in hopes of inspiring others as they guide their own.”
