All lanes of 91 Freeway reopened after downed cables are cleared

The westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Anaheim were reopened Tuesday after crews cleared downed cables, officials said.
All lanes of the 91 Freeway at the 57 Freeway were reopened about 1:20 p.m. after crews cleared the cables, though they were still working on repairs, California Highway Patrol Officer Troy Christensen said.
A support beam holding up the cables, which belong to AT&T, fell, he said. Officials were still investigating what caused the beam to collapse, he said.
The freeway was closed about 11 a.m., said Cindy Azima, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Transportation.
