A motorist was killed early Sunday in a hit-and-run crash on an off-ramp of the 10 Freeway near downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 6:20 a.m. on the Western Avenue offramp, said California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi. The unidentified male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The freeway offramp was shut down for about an hour as coroner officials removed the body, Polizzi said.
No information was immediately available about the driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash.
