Letters: A transgender homecoming queen

Re “In the running, as herself,” Sept. 19

Transgender teen Cassidy Lynn Campbell would get my vote for homecoming queen at Marina High School. Not only is she beautiful, she is smart, brave and true to herself.

Kudos to Marina High and her parents for allowing her to be who she is.
