A pair of Fountain Valley residents were arrested Dec. 30 during a probation search after authorities found several firearms and high-capacity magazines.
Erica Partnoff, 26, and Eder Pastenesvalladares, 28, were arrested on suspicion of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possession of high-capacity magazines and being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition, according to Fountain Valley police.
On Dec. 30, Fountain Valley police and officials with the Orange County Probation Department conducted a probation search at the apartment where Partnoff and Pastenesvalladares live together. The relationship between the pair is not being disclosed, Fountain Valley police Sgt. Tony Luce said.
Partnoff and Pastenesvalladares are both on probation, barring them from possessing firearms. Authorities found an assault rifle, a shotgun and ammunition for both weapons. High-capacity magazines for the rifle were also found along with drug paraphernalia, police said.
