Baseball: Lucas Giolito continues his comeback
- Share via
Former Harvard-Westlake pitcher Lucas Giolito continued his comeback from Tommy John surgery, throwing five shutout innings in his debut for Auburn of the New York-Penn League.
Giolito, a first-round draft pick of the Washington Nationals, was 1-1 with a 2.78 ERA in the Gulf Coast League.
His father, Rick, was on hand on Wednesday to watch his son pitch for the first time since he was injured in a Harvard-Westlake game in 2012.
