Baseball: Tyler Radcliffe throws one-hitter for Long Beach Wilson

Tyler Radcliffe of Long Beach Wilson came so close to throwing a no-hitter on Monday night at Blair Field. He finished with a one-hitter in Wilson’s 2-0 Moore League victory over Lakewood.
Wilson is one of the hottest teams in Southern Section Division 1, improving to 21-4.
The only hit was a single by Brendan Davis with two outs in the sixth inning. Radcliffe finished with 10 strikeouts and two walks.
Ryan Hare allowed five hits in defeat.
Andrew Brown had two hits for Wilson.
In a nonleague game, Warren defeated Marshall, 10-2. Jose Ruiz had four RBIs. Steven Nuno contributed three hits.
