Boys’ basketball: Chino Hills tops field in Rose City Classic

Chino Hills, led by the Ball brothers, Lonzo and LiAngelo, tops the field for the Rose City Classic at Maranatha High that begins on Dec. 1 and ends with the championship game on Dec. 6.
Chino Hills figures to get plenty of competition from the host school, which picked up transfers Tyler Dorsey from St. John Bosco and Trevor Stanback from Chaminade.
Mission League favorite Alemany is also entered, along with Oak Park, Cantwell-Sacred Heart, Price, Leuzinger and Westlake.
