Boys’ basketball: Mater Dei’s Miles Brookins signs with La Salle

Miles Brookins, a 6-foot-10 center from Santa Ana Mater Dei, has signed with La Salle.

Coach John Giannini of La Salle had this to say about Brookins in school news release:

“Miles was the first to commit to us. He is well coached, coming from a nationally-elite high school program, and is ready for a big senior year. We will develop him his first year and then expect him to be a key player for us. He has good size, athleticism and skill and as he gains strength and experience, I believe he will be an excellent player for us.”
