Football: Sunset League title on the line in Edison-Fountain Valley battle
- Share via
Fountain Valley (6-2, 3-0) has won six consecutive games. Edison (5-3, 3-0) is starting to peak after playing its usual tough nonleague schedule.
The two neighborhood rivals clash on Friday at Orange Coast College to decide the Sunset League title.
Edison (5-3, 3-0) has been making slow progress while sophomore quarterback Griffin O’Connor learns the offense after an injury to starter Grant Lowary.
The Chargers’ defense will be severly tested by Fountain Valley’s running game, led by quarterback Chad Olberding.
