Girls’ golf: Beckman wins Southern Division team championship

Irvine Beckman won the Southern Division team championship on Thursday in girls’ golf at Costa Mesa Golf Course.
Beckman, Cerritos and Placentia Valencia advance to the WSCGA team qualifier on Nov. 6 at Western Hills Country Club.
Alyaa Abdulgany of Corona del Mar had the best score of the day with a 67.
Cameron Lee led Beckman with a 70.
