The California Golden Bears have come away with the top senior water polo player in Southern California, if not the state.
Johnny Hooper of Harvard-Westlake has committed to California.
Hooper led the Wolverines to an unbeaten season and a second consecutive Southern Section Division 1 championship. He was the co-player of the year in Division 1.
