Jets prepare for Tim Tebow introduction

The circus has arrived.
Tim Tebow will meet the media at New York Jets headquarters in a 9 a.m. PT news conference Monday, and the set-up is downright presidential. And this is for a backup quarterback, mind you.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, the “availability” will take place in the team’s field house, a franchise first, which is the length of a field and 100 feet high. Tebow will stand at a podium on a raised platform, before rows of 80 seats for reporters. As of 7 a.m. PT, Cimini writes, there were a dozen TV camera tripods positioned behind the reporters, 11 TV trucks in the parking lot, and four cameras outside the building set up for “stand ups.”
Meanwhile, Jets owner Woody Johnson, Coach Rex Ryan and General Manager Mike Tannenbaum are at the NFL meetings at the Breakers hotel in Palm Beach, Fla.
Tebow will be managing this one on his own.
