Kobe Bryant will not play tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a sore right shoulder, the Lakers said.
Bryant struggled through a five-for-18 shooting effort Wednesday in a win over the Celtics. He said afterward his shoulder bothered him but he felt the need to push through it for his final game in Boston.

Bryant had surgery on the shoulder last January after tearing the rotator cuff, ending his 2014-15 season.
He has sat out a handful of games this season for various reasons.
It was unclear who the Lakers would start in his place in a game with possible draft lottery implications. The Lakers (6-27) and 76ers (3-31) were the NBA’s two worst teams through December.
