Gear: Cover protects your tablet, credit cards and more
- Share via
My tablet’s newest mobile home is PureGear’s Universal Tablet Folio, which opens like a book and folds closed securely via an integrated magnetic flap.
The folio’s right side has four flexible corner bands that grip the tablet without interfering with charging ports or other side-based controls. (Camera function, however, is obscured).
The left side has a big flap pocket for documents and three smaller slash pockets for IDs or credit cards. An additional built-in backing lets you prop up the tablet horizontally for typing or hands-free viewing.
The folio is lightweight, with a soft sueded feel but stiff enough to provide a sturdy solid base and cushioning protection.
It comes sized for 9- to 10-inch tablets ($49.99) and 7- to 8-inch tablets ($39.99), and e-readers.
