Hear Tyler Armstrong tell his story of setting the world record on Dec. 24, 2013, at the age of 9, as the youngest person to climb Argentina’s 22,841-foot Mt. Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western and Southern hemispheres.

Fredrick Gary Hareland will discuss “Douglas Mawson’s Epic 700-Mile Antarctic Survival Journey.”

Participants will learn basic astronomy and observation techniques, then travel into the national park to observe the night sky.
