WHAT TO DO
The Zeppelin Museum (011-49-7541-3801-0, https://www.zeppelin-museum.de/home_en.html) is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, May through October, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m Tuesdays-Sundays, November through April. Admission is about $11 for adults, about $9.50 for seniors and about $4 for children. An audio tour in English is available for about $4.
To complete the zeppelin experience, you can fly in the Neue Technologie (lifted by helium) at fares starting at about $270 for 30 minutes, or tour the company’s facilities, March
to October (011-49-7541-5900-0, https://www.zeppelinflug.de). Tours for adults about $12.
WHERE TO STAY
Buchhorner Hof (011- 49-75-41-2050, https://www.buchhorn.de) is around the corner from the railroad station and a 15-minute amble along Lake Constance from the Zeppelin Museum. Classic, comfortable and affordable — we paid about $170 a night.
