Las Vegas: $110 for hotel + airfare makes for a cheap spring break

This is the stuff spring breaks are made of: super-cheap air-hotel packages to Las Vegas. Yes, most Angelenos drive to Vegas, but with the high price of gas and the low cost of these packages, flying might be a no-brainer -- and a spring break windfall.
JetBlue Airways: The airline extended its one-day Madness-in-March sale that started Tuesday until tonight (Wednesday). As I was checking out the sale fares, I stumbled upon an incredible discounted Las Vegas package: $110 per person based on double occupancy from April 8 to 10 that includes two nights at Circus Circus and round-trip airfare from Long Beach. (You even earn 979 points if you are a TrueBlue member.)
Upgrade options on the same dates are available too, such as the Aria for $204 per person or the Vdara for $188 per person. Prices include tax. The deal is good for travel between Tuesday and June 20 but reservations must be made by 8:59 p.m. PDT tonight (Wednesday).
Southwest Airlines: This airline also has a sale on with a booking period good for more than a week. The sale includes this Vegas package from Southwest Vacations: $149 per person based on double occupancy from April 8 to 10 at the Excalibur and round-trip airfare from Los Angeles.
This includes a free tour of Laughlin as well and 810 Rapid Rewards Points. Travel is good until Nov. 2 but you must make a reservation by 4 p.m. PDT March 29.
