Kentucky: Explore six Louisville museums with a money-saving pass

There’s more to see in Louisville than horse country and the Kentucky Derby. The super-size Louisville Slugger baseball bat and boxer Muhammad Ali’s “journey to greatness” are on display at downtown museums that showcase some of the city’s other claims to fame.
Visitors can cash in on a new pass good at six museums that offer their own perspective on life in Derby City and beyond.
The deal: The Main Ticket can be bought online or at the visitor center at 301 Fourth St. It’s good for admission to:
--Frazier History Museum
--Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft
--Kentucky Science Center
--KentuckyShow!, a big-screen story about the city and its culture
--Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, where the famed baseball bats are made, and
--Muhammad Ali Center, a homage to the life and principles of the legendary boxer.
When: The pass is good for single admission to each museum for one year from the date of purchase.
Details: Passes cost $29.99 for adults and $23.99 for children 6 to 12 years old. It provides admission to the museums located in a four-block area but not the Kentucky Derby Museum, which will cost you an extra $14 for adults and $11 for teens.
