California: Package at Cambria inn gives a taste of the beach, wine country

Visitors to California’s Central Coast can sample the beach and wine country with a two-night package from the Blue Dolphin Inn in Cambria. The 20-room inn, just across the road from Moonstone Beach and its seaside boardwalk, is about 30 miles from Paso Robles, center of a major vineyard region. The Coastal Wine Package provides a four-hour wine-tasting tour, with round-trip shuttle van transportation from the inn. Note: The inn is for adults only (ages 18 and up), and you must be at least 21 to book the wine package.
Dates: Subject to availability, the package is valid through Oct. 31, except during holiday periods.
Price: From $499 a room plus tax, based on double occupancy. The price varies by date and room category. It includes two nights’ lodging, the wineries tour, daily breakfast, afternoon coffee and tea, parking, Wi-Fi and a bottle of commemorative Blue Dolphin Inn wine with wine glasses. All rooms have fireplaces, and most have full or partial oceans views. The price does not include tips for the tour guide.
