Seattle: Advance purchase takes up to 30% off rooms at Edgewater
- Share via
Most hotels offer a discount for guests who book and pay for a room well in advance of their visit. The waterfront Edgewater Hotel in Seattle offers up to 30% off room rates, a good value for early birds who are sure of when they want to stay.
The deal: The hotel makes no secret about the advanced purchase rate and has a click-through page on its website that makes it easier to find. There are some caveats with the low rate: You have to book at least 14 days in advance and pay in full when you reserve. Also, reservations aren’t refundable.
When: The offer is good through the end of the year, based on availability.
Tested: The advance purchase rate wasn’t available for several weekends I checked in March and April, so book early to get the savings. I found a room with one queen bed available May 3-5 for $217 instead of $289 a night plus tax, a savings of 25%.
