West Hollywood : Marketing Board Member

The City Council has appointed restaurant owner Bob Walker to the Board of Directors of the West Hollywood Marketing Corp.
He replaces Teresa Garay, who moved away from the city.
Walker, who owns Hugo’s restaurant, 8401 Santa Monica Blvd., is president of the Santa Monica Boulevard Assn., a business group.
Garay, a community relations executive with a Los Angeles television station, was co-chairwoman of the Save Our Parks Alliance, a group opposed to building a civic center in West Hollywood Park. She finished last among five candidates for City Council last year.
