It is not too surprising to note that Republican politicians are increasingly revealed to have broken their campaign promises! President Bush, Gov. George Deukmejian and perhaps Sen. Pete Wilson too. It would seem that what Pete Wilson really wants most of all is another pension check.
Let us hope that the voters recognize their big opportunity to have more honest representation with a team of women heading our state government with Dianne Feinstein as governor; Marian Bergeson as lieutenant governor; March Fong Eu as secretary of state, and Kathleen Brown as state treasurer.
Sally Anne Sheridan, the new mayor of Irvine, has proven that women voters can generate a lot of power!
