Top-seeded Sinjin Smith and Randy Stocklos were upset by eighth-seeded Andrew Smith and Pat Powers in the $60,000 Miller Lite Open volleyball tournament at Cleveland.
In a major breakup of one of volleyball’s top teams, Tim Hovland and Mike Dodd split after nearly nine years together. Hovland paired with Kent Steffes and Dodd with Dan Vrebalovich, both teams reaching today’s winners’ bracket semifinals.
