LOCAL : Nurse Stabbed to Death at Home

A nurse was found stabbed to death in the utility room of her West Los Angeles home, police said today.
Kathleen Powell, 34, was confronted by an attacker in her Beverlywood home, Police Officer Pat Lane said.
The victim’s body was found about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the utility room of her house at 9730 Kirkside Road, near Hillcrest Country Club, coroner’s spokesman Bob Dambacher said.
