FULLERTON — Funeral services for Brent Fair, a longtime local basketball coach who died last week, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
Fair, 37, coached basketball at several schools, including Golden West College, Fullerton Union High School, Whittier College and Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights. He also coached professional basketball in New Zealand.
Fair, of Fullerton, apparently died of a heart attack.
Friends said Sunday they were setting up a scholarship fund in Fair’s name to aid young athletes.
People interested in contributing should send their inquiries or donations to the Brent Fair Scholarship Fund, 9121 Atlanta Ave., Suite 122, Huntington Beach, CA 92646, said Rob Lusk, a close friend of Fair’s.
