Amary S. Brack; Retired Shoe Salesman

Amary Sibley Brack, a retired shoe salesman and a longtime member of Ventura Baptist Temple, died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. He was 91.
Born in Paris, Texas, on July 8, 1905, Brack moved to Farmington, N.M., where he worked for the Nygren Menswear company as a shoe salesman for 25 years. After moving to Ventura, he worked briefly at Rubbottom Cabinets in Ventura, until his retirement in 1971.
Brack is survived by his wife, Willie Brack of Ventura; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Sharon Brack of Camarillo; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends are asked to call at Ted Mayr Funeral Home today from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
